MORE than 150,000 Taiwan-based overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are expected to benefit from the territory's new immigration policy allowing foreign workers to apply for multiple entry visas, the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) said.

"We are very pleased with this latest development that will ease the burden on OFWs. This means savings in terms of time and money in the processing of travel documents to Taiwan for our workers," former labor secretary and now MECO chairman Silvestre Bello 3rd said Tuesday.
