DA alarmed by rising armyworm cases

KAYAPA, Nueva Vizcaya: Due to the growing cases of beet armyworm infestation in this upland town, the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 2 (DA-RFO2) has extended technical assistance to onion growers.

Through its Regional Crop Protection Center (RCPC) headed by Mindaflor Aquino, the DA-RFO2 is closely monitoring onion crops in the far-flung barangay of Pinayag here.
