SEN. Christopher 'Bong' Go appealed to Finance Secretary Ralph Recto to pursue an 'inclusive' economic recovery so that all Filipinos would benefit from progress.
The senator made the appeal as he raised the importance of collaboration among different branches of the government in addressing poverty.

'I am appealing to Secretary Ralph Recto that no Filipino would be left behind, especially the poor, in our march toward economic recovery. Let us help the poor,' Go said in Filipino and English.
'I believe that he is an experienced economist and legislator. And he will have a good relationship with the legislative branch,' he said in a chance interview on January 12 in Navotas City.
Recto and Go were colleagues in the Senate during the 18th Congress. Go raised the need to pass economic measures to sustain economic recovery.
He said he would support Recto's confirmation when he faces the Commission on Appointments.
'But my only appeal to Secretary Recto is not to neglect our poor countrymen,' he said.
