ALLEN, Northern Samar: The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) provincial office here has served a six-month preventive suspension on Mayor Joey Suan who is facing an administrative complaint.
The implementation of the suspension order came after DILG Undersecretary Juan Victor Llamas received a request from the Office of the Ombudsman through Assistant Ombudsman Pilarita Lapitan to implement the Aug. 30, 2023 decision of Deputy Ombudsman Jose Balmeo Jr.
