Coalition launches strategic move to engage NGOs in battle against malnutrition

IN a concerted effort to address malnutrition, leaders and members of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and the government gathered at The Manila Hotel on Jan. 13, 2024 for the launch of Children's First 1000 Days Coalition (CFDC)'s operations manual and training program.

The manual offered NGOs a guide to adopt a barangay (village) that would support the government's drive in ensuring proper nutrition for Filipino children, particularly during the first 1000 days of their lives.
