PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said there is no more active New People's Army (NPA) front operating as of December last year.

In a video message, the President credited his administration's headway in fighting the communist insurgency to the collective efforts of the Department of National Defense (DND), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the military, and the police.
