Teleserye stars Jennylyn Mercado and Xian Lim begin the New Year with excitement and gratitude as their long-delayed primetime drama, "Love. Die. Repeat." will finally premiere tonight on GMA Network.

The series was initially scheduled to air in 2021, but a few taping days in, the project had to be put on hold when Mercado found out she was pregnant. [The actress has since given birth to a baby girl with Dennis Trillo, whom she married in 2023]. Expressing happiness that the show is back on track, Mercado said, "I am thankful that GMA waited for me and Xi waited for me too. They could have easily replaced me, especially since it's such a good project." Lim shared a similar sentiment, admitting, "I was afraid it would be Jennylyn deciding I should be replaced when she returned from resting and caring for the baby. You see, when 'Love. Die. Repeat.' was offered to me; I hadn't done anything for GMA yet. They only saw what I did with the other station. "But here we are, and I will have to keep saying what I've been saying about GMA – that I owe a lot to them," he added.
