Protection of 'green economy' sites pushed

THE Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is moving to protect Green Economy Model (GEM) sites in the country.

Environment Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga and other Cabinet members recently convened to address issues affecting the country's top tourist destinations like water quality and security and solid waste management.
