AFP deploys troops for Sinulog festival

MANILA, Philippines: The Armed Forces of the Philippines deployed over 800 of its personnel to help keep the peace and ensure the safety of visitors who will attend the Sinulog festival in Cebu City.

Visayas Command Chief Lt. Gen. Benedict Arevalo said the 865 troops will maintain order and safety during the festival, Cebu's biggest and grandest, on January 21.
