THE Liberal Party (LP) of the Philippines and a workers' group have criticized a television advertisement that berated the 1987 Constitution and called for charter change (Cha-cha).
This ad "EDSA-Pwera" — a wordplay on EDSA, which was the site of the 1986 People Power Uprising that toppled late president Ferdinand Marcos Sr.'s government, and "etsapuwera" or exclusion — was a paid advertisement shown on primetime television and was supposedly paid for by Gana Atienza Avisado Law Offices.
