Climate change worries 87% of Filipinos

MORE Filipinos — around 87 percent — are 'somewhat worried' or get 'very worried' about climate change, according to the International Public Opinion on Climate Change 2023 published last November. The number is 2 percent higher compared to 2022.

Eighty-seven percent of Filipinos believe that climate change is happening today, 1 percent lower compared to 2022, and 78 percent feel that climate change will harm future generations.
