Phinma's PhilCement to operate Petra plant

PHILCEMENT Corp., a majority-owned subsidiary of Phinma Corp., has signed a manufacturing and sale agreement with Petra Cement Inc. to operate a cement grinding facility in Zamboanga del Norte with an annual capacity of 500,000 metric tons.

The partnership will enable PhilCement to distribute and sell cement products produced from the facility, 'which will best serve the growing and dynamic Northern Mindanao market,' the holding firm said in a disclosure on Friday.
