BACOLOD CITY: Nearly seven months after four members of the Fausto family were killed by still unknown assailants in their home in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, justice remains elusive as authorities have not yet filed any case against the suspects.
Vincent Parra, provincial chief of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) in Negros Occidental, said Wednesday that the Himamaylan City Police Station has failed to file appropriate charges for the killings of the couple Roly and Emelda Fausto and their two sons in their house on June 14, 2023.
