Loans to electric co-ops exceed P1B

THE National Electrification Administration (NEA) announced on Thursday that it has provided more than P1 billion in loans to electric cooperatives (ECs) for the whole of 2023.

According to the agency, it facilitated a total of P1,002,540,867.31 worth of loans to 28 ECs by the end of 2023, according to the latest report of its Accounts Management and Guarantee Department (AMGD).
