Spoelstra, Heat agreed on extension

(UPDATE) MIAMI: Erik Spoelstra and the Miami Heat have agreed on a long-term contract extension, ensuring that the longest-tenured coach in franchise history only keeps adding to his team records for the foreseeable future.

The team announced the agreement on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila).
