MANILA, Philippines: In a first for the local beauty franchise, 69-year-old Jocelyn Cubales — better known in the fashion industry as designer Joyce Peñas Pilarsky — will compete in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines-Quezon City 2024.
Cubales will compete against 14 other candidates. Should she win, she will represent the city in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines pageant. She will also be the most senior candidate for the franchise.
