THE Department of Education (DepEd) is hopeful that the Philippines will get a higher Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) results in 2025, the third time that the country will join the assessment of 15-year-old students, an official said.

In an exclusive interview with The Manila Times at the installation of the new Fraternal Order of Philippine Eagles leadership on Jan. 6, 2024, in Las Piñas City, DepEd Undersecretary for School Infrastructure and Facilities Epimaco Densing 3rd said Filipino students would be more ready to take the PISA of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in 2025 because of the Matatag agenda.
