Trade deficit widens further in Nov

THE country's trade deficit widened in November as exports contracted anew, preliminary data from the Philippine Statistics Authority showed on Wednesday.

At $4.69 billion, the merchandise trade gap rose from October's $4.39 billion. It was also higher compared to the year-earlier $3.72 billion.
