'SMNI suspension baseless, damaging'

SEN. Robinhood Padilla, who chairs the Senate Committee on Public Information and Mass Media, said that the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC)'s 30-day suspension order on Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) is not only baseless but also damaging.

Padilla on Monday filed Senate Resolution 895, expressing support for SMNI and condemning the NTC for implementing the suspension order without due process.
