THE country's unemployment rate fell to 3.6 percent in November from 4.2 percent in October last year, the lowest since 2005, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said on Tuesday.

This translates to 1.83 million Filipinos without jobs, 260,000 fewer than October's figure of 2.09 million. It is also lower than the 2.18 million in November 2022, reflecting a year-on-year drop of 350,000 unemployed individuals.
