Rope pulling Black Nazarene image breaks

MANILA, Philippines: The rope used to pull the carriage (Andas) carrying the image of the Black Nazarene broke, delaying the procession, Quiapo Church said on Tuesday.

It broke before turning right to Arlegui Street corner Quezon Boulevard, said organizers, adding that this was not the first time and that the incident has no significant effect on the flow of procession.
