AS much as 100 doses of unauthorized African Swine Fever (ASF) vaccines were recovered by law enforcement officers from two suspects in a buy-bust operation in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

The Philippine National Police - Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, in collaboration with representatives from the Department of Agriculture (DA), successfully apprehended suspects Tonneth Vega and Eladio Bautista, who were ostensibly selling vaccines that had yet to be officially approved for sale in the Philippines.
