P1M narra seized in Nueva Vizcaya

TUGUEGARAO CITY: Officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) impounded an Elf truck and seized its cargo of undocumented narra wood worth P1 million in a checkpoint in Santa Fe town in Nueva Vizcaya on Friday, January 5.

The DENR said the 101 pieces of narra flitches were concealed behind stacks of green bananas and covered by canvas from the top and sides.
