BAGUIO CITY: Mayor Benjamin Magalong and City Health Services Office (CHSO) acting head Dr. Celia Flor Brillantes have encouraged residents and visitors to wear masks for protection against respiratory and influenza-like illnesses (ILI) as the cold season begins in the Summer Capital.
The CHSO said severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) and ILI cases have increased and this may persist because of the cold weather normally experienced in the city during the "ber" months until February.
