(UPDATE) PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) spokesman Col. Jean Fajardo said Saturday they will be enforcing strict security measures during the official visit of Indonesian President Joko Widodo to the country, back-to-back with the traditional Traslacion of the Black Nazarene.
Widodo will be in the Philippines from January 9 to 11, with the religious event also starting on Widodo's arrival.
