LTFRB: 70% of jeepneys now consolidated

AS of January 4, more than 70 percent of traditional jeepneys and 76 percent of UV Express units have consolidated their franchises, according to the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

In a media briefing on Friday, Joel Bolano, LTFRB technical division chief, said that the figures for Metro Manila are still being updated, but the numbers have increased.
