THE American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham) expressed optimism on the country's agriculture after the government ordered a temporary extension of reduced tariff on rice, corn, and meat products.
AmCham Agribusiness Committee Chairman Christopher Ilagan told The Manila Times in a Viber message on Thursday that he is upbeat seeing an increase of agricultural supply, an indication it is a "step in the right direction."
