MANILA Electric Co. (Meralco) on Thursday said it had started the competitive selection process (CSP) for 660 megawatts (MW) of interim supply ahead of expected increased demand during the dry season.
The Department of Energy (DoE) has issued a certificate of conformity for the terms of reference covering interim power supply agreements (IPSAs) for Meralco's 260-MW peaking and 400-MW baseload requirements this year.
