CHEMREZ Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of listed D&L Industries, on Thursday welcomed an Energy department draft circular proposing the implementation of a higher biodiesel blend.
The circular calls for an increase in the biodiesel or coco methyl ester (CME) blend to 3.0 percent (B3) from 2.0 percent (B2) effective July 1 this year. This will further increase to B4 by July 1, 2025 and to B5 effective July 1, 2026.
