(UPDATE) THE Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) warned on Wednesday, January 3, that it would likely raise the alert status of the Bulusan Volcano in Sorsogon province to Level 2 if its parameters would continue to rise.
Phivolcs Director Teresito "Toto" Bacolcol told The Manila Times via Viber that they issued a notice Tuesday night following an increase in its seismic activity during the past days.
