New year 2024: Open dialogues for international healing

POWERFUL voices. Freedom and peace. Spilled blood and wounds yet to heal. The year 2023 has both been beautiful and tragic. With human resilience, we have broken through with the end of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, we have also seen multiple wars that exemplify the worst of humanity, such as Russia and Ukraine, Israel-Palestine, and tensions between China and the Philippines that remain.

As an undergraduate at Harvard who encountered both Palestinian and Jewish students recently in the United States, I will address this controversy deviating from the usual one-sided or passive political environment. I take the unbiased ground of intergenerational peace and healing for all.
