Gatchalian orders assistance to Davao City fire victims

DEPARTMENT of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rexlon 'Rex' Gatchalian has directed DSWD Field Office-11 regional director Vanessa Goc-ong to give prompt aid to the more than 300 households impacted by a fire incident on Wednesday at Purok San Vicente, Barangay Leon Garcia in Davao City.

Goc-ong, in response, is now working closely with the Davao City local government unit (LGU) to provide additional resources to the affected families.
