Toyota vows addl P1.1B to PUV modernization

(UPDATE) JAPANESE carmaker Toyota Motor Corp. made an additional investment pledge of P1.1 billion to support the government's public utility vehicle (PUV) modernization program, Malacañang said Friday.

Toyota committed P4.4 billion in investments when President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. visited Japan in February.
