Transport group sets up protest camp

ILOILO CITY: The No to PUV Phaseout Coalition-Panay has set up a protest camp in front of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Region 6 (LTFRB-6) office in Barangay Quintin Salas, Jaro District to express its opposition to the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).

Drivers and operators of traditional jeepneys and UV express units opposing the government's PUVMP began setting up their camp on Wednesday, December 27.
