Budget deficit down, revenues up

THE national government's budget deficit narrowed for the second consecutive month in November as revenues grew but spending contracted, the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) reported on Thursday.

The shortfall shrunk by 24.75 percent to P93.3 billion, P30.7-billion lower than the year-earlier P123.9 billion.
