PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. boasted of the "structural changes" that his administration made this year, reforms that he believed would have a "greater effect" in 2024.

In an interview with the Philippine reporters during his recent visit to Tokyo, Japan, Marcos said he was able to "remodel" the economy that had slumped during the Covid-19 pandemic.
