Jamie Lim: I inherited dad's work ethic

MANILA, Philippines: National karate team member Jamie Lim, the daughter of the late PBA legend Avelino "Samboy" Lim, Jr., said she had inherited her father's work ethic as an athlete.

"He always lived by example, so I know that he is a very hardworking athlete, that he would always be there before training, then he would the last one to leave even if he was the first to arrive in training," the two-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist told The Manila Times in a chance interview on Wednesday.
