BOLINAO, Pangasinan: Using a flat board-tipped wooden tool, Gov. Ramon Guico 3rd collected the white crystals that had formed on the ceramic-tiled salt bed here and carefully loaded them into an empty bamboo basket.
That was the very first batch of harvest by the governor from the 473-hectare salt farm that the provincial government began to operate at Barangay Zaragoza here in June this year.
