THE Senate will focus on the approval of five bills pending in the bicameral conference committee (bicam) when Congress resumes sessions on January 22, 2024, Senate President Juan Miguel "Migz" Zubiri said.
The panel is in the process of harmonizing the Senate and House versions of five measures, including Senate Bill (SB) 2432 or "An Act Defining the Crimes of Agricultural Economic Sabotage" that aims to prevent and penalize smuggling, hoarding, profiteering, and cartel of agricultural and fishery products.
