MANILA, Philippines: The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday that it is closely monitoring cloud formations in areas in Mindanao that may bring rain and thunderstorms.

Pagasa forecaster Patrick del Mundo said, however, that these cloud clusters were unlikely to develop into another weather disturbance.
