Upper-middle-income status possible by 2026

A CONTINUED economic recovery and reform efforts will allow to achieve its goal of attaining upper-middle-income status in the near term, an analyst said.

'Increasing the productivity of agriculture and manufacturing would help expedite the achievement of the county's middle-income status in the coming years,' Michael Ricafort, chief economist at Rizal Commercial Banking Corp., told The Manila Times.
