Jesus of Nazareth says children are the most important of all

REFLECTIONS

CHRISTMAS is about celebrating the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, the greatest man who ever lived, the one man who gives meaning, purpose and value to an increasingly secular, materialistic lifestyle that has alienated children from their parents. Christmas is also about children, but for some families the holidays would be a lonely time. Many children spend much of their time surfing the internet, playing video games and entering dark digital forests where dangerous monsters lurk.

The internet can be a source of knowledge for some, but for many more, it is the source of mindless entertainment that estranges young people from their family and friends and distracts them from engaging with their society. Many young people are unable to understand the truth and the realities of life. Few can talk heart-to-heart with their parents.
