President forms special panel for LGBTQIA+

(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has issued an executive order (EO) creating a special committee for the country's LGBTQIA+ community, Malacañang announced Saturday.

Signed on December 22, EO 51 reinforces the government's Diversity and Inclusion Program (DIP); reconstitutes the Inter-Agency Committee on Diversity and Inclusion; and creates the Special Committee on Lesbian Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) Affairs.
