THERE will be sufficient power supply in the country even if the El Niño phenomenon extends until the first half of 2024, a Department of Energy (DoE) official said in a briefing on Friday.
"Right now, we don't see a shortage even if El Niño [climate pattern] lasts until the first semester of 2024," DoE Assistant Secretary Mario Marasigan said in English and Filipino.
