(UPDATE) THE number of poor Filipinos in the first half of this year was lower than the figure in 2021, the Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA) said on Friday.
The number dropped to 22.4 percent from 23.7 percent, or from 26.14 million to 25.14 million Filipinos, the PSA said.
