THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported that the number of displaced persons rose as "Kabayan" unleashed more heavy rains and inundated more communities before veering toward West Philippine Sea (WPS) on Wednesday afternoon, December 20.
The NDRRMC reported on Thursday that from 90,096 persons affected by torrential rains, the displaced inhabitants soared to 322,768, forcing them to seek shelter.
