SMNI slapped a 30-day suspension

(UPDATE) THE National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) on Thursday imposed a 30-day suspension against Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) for violating its legislative franchise.

In issuing the suspension, the NTC said it gave deference to the House of Representatives 'and its authority over all matters directly and principally relating to the grant, amendment, extension or revocation of franchises.'
