It would be far from an overstatement to label internationally awarded actress Alessandra de Rossi the most successful Filipina in global streaming today. Since first taking the world's largest on-demand entertainment platform, Netflix, by storm in 2021 with 'My Amanda' — a straight-to-streaming movie she wrote, directed, produced and starred in across Piolo Pascual herself — Alex has gone from strength to strength as one of the most, if not the most, prolific artists in the business today.

Following the online blockbuster, she did a short film titled 'Matapang,' which went on demand in France and carried on with more successful straight-to-streaming projects, namely 'Wala Kang Ka-Paris' (a reunion movie with her blockbuster leading man, Empoy Marquez, for 'Kita-Kita' in 2017) on Prime Video; and the back-to-back power projects, 'What If' (with JM de Guzman) and 'Replacing Chef Chico' (with Piolo and Sam Milby) this year, which continue to make waves on Netflix as of reading.
