Jobless Filipinos down to 7.9M

THE number of jobless Filipinos eased to 7.9 million in September 2023 based on a new Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

The poll, from September 28 to October 1, found adult joblessness at 16.9 percent, lower than the 22.8 percent recorded in June 2023 or around 10.3 million adults.
