Hotshots sign Calvin Abueva to fresh 3-year deal

MANILA, Philippines: Magnolia Chicken Timplados has locked veteran forward Calvin Abueva to a fresh three-year extension deal despite being out with a calf muscle strain that has prevented the 'Beast' from playing in the PBA Season 48.

The Hotshots' team governor Rene Pardo said at 35, Abueva remains a force to reckon with.
